Make a Wish

The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Sacramento and Northeastern California is a charitable nonprofit organization whose purpose is to grant wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

 

"The Wishing Place"  for  is   is a two-story, 14,000 square feet building constructed for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.  The facility is host to a "Wish Room", "Wish Tower", a large conference area, catering kitchen, lobby with reception area, and a second floor consisting of ten offices and room for thirty cubicles.  The facility is composed of structural steel, wood frame, tile roof, and a lath and plaster exterior skin.   One of three in the country, the building acts as a sanctuary for children who have life threatening diseases.
