Sutter Medical Center Santa Rosa
Incorporating advanced technology, modern hospital design, green building practices, and current seismic construction, the new Sutter Medical Center Santa Rosa (SMCSR) hospital will anchor the medical campus. The SMCSR hospital is designed to include:
- 82 licensed beds
- 10 labor and delivery rooms
- 12 bay Emergency Department
- 24 station Universal Care Unit (UCU)
The UCU is an advanced concept in acute care hospital design which expands the Emergency Department and Medical/Surgical operational capacities. One unique feature of patient care is found in the design of the patient rooms. All adult patient rooms are designed for single patient occupancy to maximize comfort and privacy for each patient and their family.
