The Children’s Receiving Home project consisted of two phases.  Phase one included site work, new parking lots and walkways, and construction of four new dorm buildings totaling 18,400 square feet.  During the second phase, children moved to the new dorm facilities so that complete renovation of the facilities could be performed.   All construction was performed while the building was occupied by staff and children.   The remodel of the 26,000 square feet facility included:

  • Two new dorms
  • Five new classrooms
  • New kitchen with dry storage
