Concrete trucks to roll all day into new Sutter Medical Center

"An eight-hour parade of concrete mixers will deliver about 110 truck loads of concrete Friday at the site of the new Sutter Medical Center off Mark West Springs Road.

The massive pour, which is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. followed by deliveries 5-to-10 minutes apart, will complete 90 percent of the foundation of the hospital's west wing. Two previous concrete pours were done in the summer."
